Setting Eggs 12/28 - Hatching Buddies? Hatch-Along

yeah it was stable.. I thought the humidity was decent but maybe they needed a little more.. regardless I'm happy for my first hatch... I had 2 incubators going... my daughters and mine. It's all just a learning experience. I'll be giving it another go very soon.

Still nothing from my eggs, how long should I wait before I discard them? I see no movement, at all. I'm discouraged. I still have 13 other runners that I will be moving into hatching bater on friday. What should I do to ensure hatching on those?

What day is it for your eggs?

If those eggs are runner ducks, I believe the incubation period is 26-31 days so 28th day is average. But Im not a duck person

You are correct, avg is 28 days for ducks. So don't even think about giving up on them until after day 30!!!

Eggs 1, 2 and 7 pipped last night and this morning their pips are larger so the cam is up

Iggy's having some trouble fluffing out. I had to take her out before some leftover membrane dried to her back she felt dry but crusty. Is that normal?
