setting eggs 6/27/12! Hatch-a-long? CHART included

We started with 25...We have five hatched and 5 with beaks pocking through about to hatch!!Not sure about the others, but this isn't bad since we experienced a long power outage midway...However one of the Marans has a little blood around the beak, it's still pipping-hoping it will be okay

I set on 6/30 and I think this is the closest start date to mine on here. I have 11 eggs in lock down- 2 Buckeye, 2 Marans, and 7 F1OEs One of the Buckeyes pipped! And they aren't due til tomorrow. Here's hoping it gets out okay :)

well of our 36 eggs 29 hatched, 2 of those died after fluffing out. two pipped and died whil hatching. there are still 5 eggs in the incubator that my wife is watching for today and then we will get id of them.

pictures tonight if i can get this site to load. i had an awful time last night!!

oh and i had a chick hatch that is black with a black beak and black legs and a little white underbelly. can't wait to see what it looks like down the road!!!

I have 2 pips and a lot of wiggles and peeping. None of the 12 have hatched yet.....
I also have 5 (Old English Game Bantam x Serama bantam) being turned 2 times a day for a friend, AND one pullet's first (Serama bantam x Serama bantam) egg waiting to be incubated.

Well my hatch day was yesterday but to my surprise I had 4 little ones hatch Wednesday They are1 white crested black polish and 1white polish and two houdan cross Then yesterday have 5 more Polish and1 houdan cross babies so I have 10 out of 14 of those eggs none of my big eggs have hatched but am patiently waiting the extra time to see if they will. So for now have 4 little eggs and 2 big eggs left in bator and 10 little fluffy butts in the brooder. I am pleased for my first hatch in my borrowed LG with no turner and no fan. I did turn 3 times a day ran bator at around 50 % and at 100 degrees through the incubation until day 18 then upped the humidity to 70 - 80 and opened the second air hole. These eggs were all from my own hens. But I learned alot and cant wait to try again at some point. Broody hen was still better at it but have experienced both now and enjoyed both processes. I got 10 for 16 so far from bator and hen got 11 for 16.

Both Buckeyes hatched... one hatched with an unsealed umbilicus and a huge blood clot... it's not going to make it :( But the other one is A-OK.

3 OEs are out, 1 is zipping and 2 are externally pipped. 1 hasn't made progress yet.

1 Marans is zipping and the other is ext. pipped.

I am reading about all your hatches everyone seems to be doing really well on % of chicks. I am only in day 4 but have 4 clutches to bring to hatch in a few weeks.. so am excited hatching viacriously thru you all!
