Setting eggs july 13 anyone else setting today, I need a buddy

I am so egggcited I have a pip already!!

I just can't believe it, this is the first time I have had one pip on day 19. Looks like others on here are getting early hatchers too. Well this is the most nerve wracking time, just watching and waiting

well I started to have a funk come from the bator so I gently picked each egg up to try to find the funk and I had an egg just explode in my hand so I decided to candle quickly so to check for others.

well I started with 27 eggs and i still have 3 that are moving in the egg

hope the quick candle and bator clean did not kill the 3 that were still alive.

kinda depressed because These were showgirl silkies and i was so excited for this hatch.

I am addicted to incubating and hatching so I will keep trying.

I woke up to one new chicky.

I am happy to get that there is still 10 left I hope to get more.

I have a little wet fuzzy butt!! An easter egger baby

One more has pipped, that one is an Australorp. I kept getting up all night long to check on it's progress and it hatched this morning, uggg I am tired

Congrats chiking wing . My daughter just saw her new cick and is excited. We go in to hours for the poultry show I hope she wins there also.

The chick is a austrolorp its father is in the show today. We also have silver penciled rocks in it and old english black bantams the old english have a bunch of ribbons already.
