Setting eggs June 3rd. Need hatching buddies! Lets have some fun!

One baby hatched. The egg came from a barred rock hen and it looks like the chick was fathered by my black/multi colored frizzle bantam cochin roo. I think the baby is a rooster because of the (gold) dot on its head.

I have 8 more pips!

Wow they are pipping so quickly I am losing count. I think I have 11 in various stages of hatching now. Oh this is so cool!! I love watching this.

well pips...not actually coming out of the shells (except the one) i can see some of them pushing on the holes in the shells
