Setting eggs May Day 5/1 want to join me?

I HAVE A PIP!!!! (I'm trying really hard not to freak out about the fact that its 2 days early)

It was quick, too! I had just taken a peek into the incubator, was looking at each egg in turn, and by the time I made it back to Willow, there was the tiny bubble!

The fan (not to mention the TV, the birds outside and the neighbors rooster) is too loud to hear any peeping through the glass, so I cant tell if its making any noise, but every so often I "think" I hear something (could be in my head, of course!)

... and now the REALLY anxious waiting begins... This is almost as bad as waiting through the last 3 days of deployment!

Countrygirl, don't get concerned yet. Remember they are not supposed to hatch until day 21. Do not touch that incubator!! And the float test should never be done until at least day 22, better to wait to 23. Each hatch is different, so keep your chin up

. I am at day 20 as of 8pm, no peeps yet.

Mountain, if "good on chickens"means having them stuffed in every corner you (kind of) have room, including the spare bedroom, plus 2 incubators waiting to add to the total, then I am right there with you

5 of the 10 have pipped, 1 (Willow) is zipping, and there's definitely some peeping going on!

I *may* just wind up sleeping on the couch tonight!

Congrats!!!! One of the two I didn't put in a carton rocked while I was looking around and I am on day 18.

Went to bed last night without a thought as no peeps our pips have been noted. Wandered in this morning, tea in hand, to find 3 chicks out

Only thing is, one is bright yellow and I am pretty sure none of these chicks should be?!
