setting eggs!! need a hatching buddy to help me through it

I need advice ..ok um.. i have a chick who is in the brooder with its imbelical cord still attached what do i do?:/

just leave him be it will fall off just like any other living thing just give it a few days and make sure that if there are other chicks that they arnt pecking at it and if you see such behavior seperate him until it falls off. and give him a stuffed animal for something to cuddle with

I'm in. Just put 30 eggs in incubator 6/18/12 and 12 duck eggs under hen.

thanks for the info i found it a little late though the chick is doing great the cord fell of so he/she is up and running all the time.Again thanks for the help!
