very cool.. I reuse mine.. it washes up easily and the little guys really seem to get around a lot better on it than just paper towels.. a couple of the quail chicks started to have spraddle legs on paper towels.. I switched them over to the shelf liner and it made a BIG difference.. no need to tape legs and they all are still doing great

Got some pix for ya

Oh Penny, I hope the little one got her feet under her now. She looks like she's ice-skating'.
Naked Necks!! Yay! Dan, they are sooo cute. Can you tell how many are frizzling yet?
Darby looks and acts like a Border Collie, but we can't say for sure what she is. She and her brother wandered up one fine spring afternoon and we never found out where they came from. They were young, probably about 8 / 9 wks-old, but no body would claim them.

Thanks, Lisa.
Lucky (the chick) is doing a lot better. I did retape her feet with a bandaid, so she has more traction, and she can get around just fine. There's a particular spot in the brooder that she likes to hang out. I'm always putting her next to the food and water, but she always makes her way back to her cozy spot on the other side of the brooder....go figure!
