Setting eggs on 7/15/2011 anyone want to join me

Makes me think I should put them into lockdown a day early!! When I had candled them at Day 7, they looked further along than I was used to seeing.

I incubate in a Brinsea ECO20. For lockdown, the Brinsea manual says you can lower the temps by a degree (optional) and that's what I usually do when I put them in the styrofoam hatcher (circulated air) my DH built.
Hoping you hatch all six.....that was a long way those eggs traveled!!! What time had you set them on the 15th?

No peeps to be heard yet

I did notice Dorothy was making a strange 'clicking' noise with her beak - not something I've seen her doing before. I wonder whether she is 'talking' with the chicks in their shells??

As a reward for my sitting to chat with her she did manage a broody poop for me to clear out

Peepin like mad when I put them all in lockdown last night. Then, they all settled down and I didn't hear anything when I went to bed or in the middle of the night when I woke up (for no aparent reason) and checked on them. This morning.... a pip!
