Setting eggs on FEB 10

awww that's sad :-( Sorry you aren't getting a better turn out. None of the ones in my 'bator smell, and after turning them around noon I SWORE I saw one I thought was done for wiggle. I may have been hallucinating or bumped the table, but I'm leaving them til someone says other wise lol. I will turn this evening around 7 and we are going in LOCK DOWN MODE! Should I remove both plugs in the top to aid in humidity increase, or put both in? I have no clue lol. This is why we set 4 and am learning :) Thanks for the link by the way!!

Remove both plugs in increase air flow.

On my first hatch I was also sure I thought I saw the goner move. When I eventually broke it open it was way gone. I hope you actually did see movement but keep a drop of pessimism to not get hopes too high!

This is what I heard too! The humidity is high in mine without the plugs (65%) since I filled both troughs. I set so many because I was sure most of them would fail and I wanted a decent hatch anyway

Luckily the eggs were super cheap. Cowgirl I am so excited for your 4, you will have to post some pictures. bugglesmommy, I can't believe you have so many! You've also got to post pictures of the tiny ones. Please?

I might have to close the door to the room where the incubator is and not go in there for a full 4 days, just to keep myself from messing with them...

I'm hoping to get some video clips and progression photos during the experience! When I lock down tonight BOTH plugs will come out and the all troughs will be FULL of water then :)

Wow, what a great setup!! I love the reptile pump, very cool. I can't keep mine up either (keeps dropping down to 41%, I'd really like it to be 60-65%) but I'm turkey basting through the vent hole 2x a day

Yeah, now I'm convinced that NONE of mine are going to hatch.

So cool to see a pip!!!
