Dont help for 24 hours or so from pip if there is no action since the first pip. No progress at all. One good thing they can live if they have a pip where they can breath air..You might pick a TINY piece of shell by his face off NOT THE MEMBRANE Then see if he can get going if he cant, later, chip a little shell off around the egg like a zip drop drops of water on the membrane to keep it soft as you go but dont do it by his beak and drowned him....... do slowly little at a time Iuse a eyebrow tweezer. If it bleeds at aLL stop wrap egg in a wet rag beak out and wait a while. Blood.... he isnt ready. Look on Youtube ...ppl have helped chicks on there. See what they do...GOOD LUCK!

I had 4 pips, 3 were peeping 9 hrs ago but stopped and didn't see no movement since so I helped 3 and now 1 is hatched, 1 is half hatched and the third is peeping and pipping the rest of the way through, I just didn't want to lose them since I paid a good penny, I only helped half way and opened membrane so they could breathe then let them do the rest, I'm hoping they all do good

I have Lemon Orps  (some look more Buff) - want me to send you eggs? will probably be next spring...have to borrow a friend's Roo. Will take pics for you tomorrow
