setting eggs this week?!what about the winter?

I live in buffalo, where winters get kind of cold, if I tried incubatating some eggs this week, would I have to wait longer before I could keep them outside? especially if it gets cold in a few months? or should I just wait until spring to hatch some?

Where I am at, the winters are not harsh, so this is something I haven't dealt with. Hopefully you will have some better answers soon, but since this is your first post, just wanted to say hello!
