Setting eggs this weekend! Aug 14th! any hatching buddies?

Might as well post the success of a couple of days ago:

Three out of 12

Got one of each marans. I moved the rest of the eggs over and got a petulant peep from one. I'll probably get a hatch tomorrow or Saturday from the nine others. Still keeping the other eggs in there, but I suspect they are duds.

Probably a combination of shipping, lack of fertilization, and beginner mistakes. Still, very happy with the chicks I've hatched out. Put them in the brooder -- temps won't stay consistent.

Managed to keep them at 90F tonight and they seem okay.

i've got 3 more lil fuzzy butts in the bator... making a total of 7 so far!!!

Woke up to six more peeps! Two MF d'Uccles, 2 more splash Silkies, a split-lav Silkie, and a Polish!!! Have 3 more zipping right now and a bunch more pips!

Went to bed with 1 chick in the hatcher ( other 7 already in the brooder ) and alot of pips. Got up to a hatcher full!

We are up to 22 hatched and the last 3 piped and on the way.

So far 4 Black sex-links ( 3 pullets - 1 cockerel ) 18 production reds ( 3 cockerels - 15 pullets )

25 hatching out of 28 eggs!

We have a pip!!! We are on Day 20 and at least one has pipped. I was in a panic over the sudden increase in humidity...then I saw it!

I woke up to ALL my other eggs pipped.

1 more baby out... thats 8 so far!

Up to 11 hatched, 3 more almost done zipping and a bunch more pipped and starting to zip.

Now, I am stuck at work until 3 and hubby is sleeping, so I will know anything else until I get home. Bummer...
