Loopy12 - Finger's crossed and happy hatching thoughts coming across the seas for your last precious Mille.

I'm getting so confused keeping up with peoples due-dates because of our time difference. Mine will be going into lock-down on the 9th in the afternoon. Which is in approx 24hrs. If possible could you all give me dates for your hatching days? Help out the confused Aussie!?

I still have 4 Marans eggs in my bator. Candling is now almost impossible though because they take up most of the egg, so I cannot really see anything and combined with the dark shell it's pointless. But I guess that is a good indication in itself that hopefully my babies are almost ready to hatch! Disco will be so happy to have some company.

Time difference-wise, ok, lets see. I start day 21 at 9am Monday which is 43.5 hours from now. Does that help?

Day 20 and 3rd day of lockdown and I hear peeping and see wiggling in my bator! Going out of town until tomorrow am. Nervous to leave the bator's side. I'm hoping they hold off and wait to pip until I'm home.

My broody got off her nest to eat and drink this am. So I took the chance to candle both eggs had energetic chicks wiggling around. Her eggs are on day 17.

I have no idea what my timeline is anymore. My lone egg is COMPLETELY filled in, but it should still have a week left to go. I set it May 21st, lockdown is scheduled for next Thursday. Fingers crossed that it's still viable!

Ok...we have LOCKDOWN!

13 eggs, but I'm pretty sure 2 are goners - one has no movement and that bitty, solid look to it, the other is moving but very underdeveloped.  I left them in because they don't smell or anything.  So really 11 worth shouting about.
They are:
6 Buff Orpingtons
3 that I believe are barred rocks
1 Brahma
1 Mille fiori which i'm gutted about as I started with ten and these were the ones I really wanted.

Humidity is up to 65%.  Temp at 99.6.  And I'm sitting on my hands.

I also went into lockdown yesterday- 12 eggs total. 5 buffs and 7 red sexlinks. Most are rocking already, my fingernails are all bit off and my house is completely immaculate. Going crazy and absolutely have to find something to do outside of the house!
