Setting eggs today 5-3-12...anyone with me?

All cute babies. I love them all. Hope you find a name for yours. I am not naming any more. The roo is Wooster but that is all. I had them all named at first. But they started looking a like and I have too many now.

I wanted some dark EEs so I ordered eggs to get that. I have my 11 4 week chicks out with my 6 week chicks that I hatched of my eggs. I got 4 of them. one buff hen and one red hen. One red roo and one blue roo. Out of the 11 I got mostly black and some black with a little white. two grey hens. and a little silver wheaten roo (maybe) and a light grey on dark feathering roo with a single comb. Don't know where he came from. I think about 7 out of the 15 have color other than black. Some will change I am sure. I went a little over board with the black. LOL These two new ones are black too. One totally black with black legs. Could be Sumatra Mix.

I could use a couple of light ones out of this mix. I could get some if they all hatch. This waiting is making me crazy. I think I am going to set up and paint for a while so I can get my mind occupied.

Well I have 9/17 hatched so far. And 4 others that have pipped. It has been a fun day watching all the progress. I will get some pictures loaded tonight!
