I have a turner also but have heard the same thing. Leaving them alone the first day helps everything stablize. I would start turning them on the morning of day 2.
Well I'm new to all this too. I set mine last night about 11:30, dummy me this morning I already turned them. I have very little knowledge about using an incubator. It seems overwhelming, as I have used my broody silky before. Trouble is this time she can;t make her mind up if she wants to sit, so I had to borrow a friends incubator as I had purchased BLCM eggsand had to do something. I've been reading a lot,but still I went and turned them. Now what? Keep turning or let them resta day?
