Setting Eggs today!! (May 2nd) Anyone else?

I set 23 on May 1st, due to hatch May 23rd. Mine include RIR's, Barred Plymouth Rocks, Buff Orphingtons, Easter Eggers, and Australorps. I have a smaller batch due to hatch on the 9th. I have 2 incubators, one that holds a higher humidity. I'll place the eggs due on the 9th in my "hatchabator" tomorrow. I am very addicted.

hatch day is tomorrow, so excited!!!

We've tossed 3 eggs- one that started with a little crack, and definitely was going bad.. a second that had an obvious blood ring and one that was infertile!
SO hopefully all the other hatch!

4 of mine have pipped!!! SO excited...it is so hard to be patient

I have 18 of 36 hatched so far. 6 of those 42 are guinea hen so they have another week. 4 more are piping. Has been a super fun experience. I will try and post some pictures.

WOO! so excited! the best i can do right now is listen to the side of my incubator and see if i can hear anything! ahah later on today will take a TINY peek inside! I wish I could see inside!

hello everyone......2 weeks into incubation and we had a some severe weather during the night and we lost power and didn't come back till morning, i checked my bator and temp was down to 80 degrees..........i decided to go thru the incubation (1 more week)......my babies started hatching 2 days ago and today is day 21.....out of the 58 eggs i have 31 chick hatched and 9 more pips.....i'm satisfied with the outcome regardless of the power outage.......

........and i'll give them till tomorrow to make up for the outage.....

I dont think any of mine have pipped yet! But it was technically 21 days this afternoon, so I'm hoping over night ill get some action!!!

Is it common for them to go early like that?

I have 18 of 23 hatched. Although one died shortly after. One egg pipped, but no signs of life since. Four remain in the incubator, but I am doubtful of their appearance. Not my best hatch rate, but considering 3 power outages due to storms, I won't complain.
