Setting Eggs Tomorrow 06-29-11/07-08-11 set 17 Any buddies???

Setting my "Second" batch in the bator tomorrow. 5, maybe 6 if she lays another before I do! They are button quail eggs! So 16 days incubation for me! I say"second" because my 1st batch is still "cooking" in the bator for a few more days and bf won't let me give up on the horribly staggered hatch I did being a newbie! Would love for "peeps" to hatch along with me! HAPPY HATCHING!!!

Staggered hatch???

I set my first 3 eggs yesterday and added one tonight. Am I not supposed to do that?? I hope that I get at least one chick out of this whole process! I need to make it worth the new incubator!

I set 6 Sebrights today and tomorrow I'll be setting 3 Vorwerks and 3 Friesians, so we won't be hatching at the same time. I look forward to hearing how yours go!

I will be putting 13 welsummer eggs under two of my broodies tomorrow. Hope it goes well - this is our first time with broodies.
