I set 15 in my bator last night! I am sorry to hear others have had not so good luck at hatches this sprng as well. I am hoping for a better hatch this time!
I just won an auction for some guinea eggs on e-bay. I should be setting them on the 30th or the 1st. I also won an auction for some tiny Malaysian Seramas. I am excited about the Seramas. I only bought 4 eggs but I think they are so cute!
Candled my eggs today and 3/5 peacock eggs have babies and all my frizzled cochin eggs (even the one I added in 2 days late) plus the egyptian fayoumi egg have babies. Most even had movement. My husband did accidently crack one of the frizzle eggs but thanks to some posts I saw on here I put wax on the cracks and it will hopefully be ok **crossing fingers**.

well, 41eggs were set and something happened along the incubation period early on. All had red lines
So I guess this means they started then died before day 9 because that was the day I candeled
I ended up having hope in 2 eggs but they did not hatch yesterday and today I will take them out These eggs did travel with me in the car Easter day so maybe the traveling and long day did something. they were Ameraucana and i usually get a great hatch from them. i hpoe eveyone else is having lots of fun and getting lots of fuzz butts
I had a good first hatch. Out of 5 frizzle eggs the only one that didn't hatch was the one my DH accidentally cracked. The Egyptian Fayoumi hatched too, and wow is it cute! They are all healthy with straight toes etc. The 5 peacock eggs were not fertile though (turns out the young peacock I have is in fact a young BS/ low % spalding peahen
). What I thought were babies when I candled them was just rotton egg
