Setting eggs tomorrow, anyone want to join?

So I went to turn my eggs before bed tonight and noticed one egg felt cooler then normal. It was still warm, just didn't feel as warm. The thermometer shows the eggs should be right at 100 degrees. I candled it and it still looks great inside. Lots of veins but I did not see movement like in the past. But I had just turned the egg so maybe it was still trying to settle? I rearranged the eggs and put this one closer to the heat source. I can't believe I am so worried about an egg but I am so attached already!

I am the same way! I worry about them all day long am an on a constant temp watch. WTH is wrong with me!! I'm also worried because I'll be on lockdown over Easter weekend and I won't be home for half the day on Easter, with my hatch day being the next day...I just know some of these buggers will be early and I'll miss it!!

So this afternoon I decided I would candle the eggs I have had a hard time seeing...12 of my original 16 are alive and developing. 2 I am unsure of because one is a very dark brown egg and I can not, nor will I ever be able to see into it, and the other I am just unsure of. 2 I know for sure were doing nothing, so I opened them, my one Leghorn was infertile...

And the other, a black Austrolorp I think may have been fertile but did not make it to development, but I could be wrong and it could have been infertile..

I am so flippen excited that I have more fertile growing eggs than I thought! I'm anxiously awaiting lockdown day next Friday...prepping my brooder...I just bought my red infared heat lamp, a 75 watt one, and stones to go in my waterer...hubby and I will work on finishing the top for the brooder this weekend so it's all ready by the time I go into lockdown! I feel all giddy!!!

I can see well in all but 3 of mine (my olive eggs) And if I place the light just right in the air sac I can see veins. So I know they were fertile. Just have to get them to hatch! The other 7 I can see babies moving around good!

So all my eggs are still. I had some temp issues yesterday and am worried it may have damaged the embryo. There was so much movement a few days ago and now nothing. There is no ring or anything and they seem to look bigger but I just don't know.

I think my egg count is at 25 total. I had 28 but one was clear, one was very scrambled looking and one had a blood ring. So I took those out. I finally could see into my lone black copper marans egg which I got from a friend and there is a little wiggler in there for sure

The rest look good. I have to add water later today so I might just candle a few more just for fun. Thinking that my lock down day will be the 29th for sure as this incubator seems to have early hatches. Hatch day should be the 1st, Easter Monday for me.

I also got 15 little ISA brown pullets today too, from a friend through a hatchery order. Quite the noisy bunch!
