Is it possible it's just taking a long break? One of our first pips didn't move or make a sound for at least 5 hours.
We have 3 running around now and 3 more pips. They sure do travel. They don't really roll the other eggs around, they just go over them...so far. For anyone using jar lids to boost the humidity, I hope you have a sponge or something in them to prevent the chicks from taking a bath. They also flipped over the calibrated hygrometer so humidity is just a rough guess with the other 2, but I think we're still about 75%. My wife has talked me out of opening the lid a few times to flip it back over. Still waiting for Ameraucanas and Welsummers...and 2 mutts.
