Setting eggs tomorrow, anyone want to join?

Yay for all the hatches so far! Post pics, lots and lots of pics, something for me to look at while I wait for my chicks to do SOMETHING!


UHG! This is so not far! I have no signs of anything, it's so discouraging. I know they'll hatch, but geez louise!

LOL I am in the same boat! Ours will happen, my hatch date is late tomorrow. But this will be the 1st time I havent had an early birdie!

17 out and possibly 1 stall. Just got home from the Easter get together and need to get up way too early for work. I'll try to do pics tomorrow.
I'll have to look up pics of Ameraucana chicks. Think we have one that's completely yellow - purebred Easter eggers I'm thinking. Oh well, still cute.

There's no such thing as "purebred Easter Eggers," they're all mutts. They come in all shapes and colors.

They are often mislabeled as Ameraucanas or Araucanas, which are both two separate breeds entirely. Easter eggers are really anything originating from one of the two, but bred with other breeds of chickens for whatever reason. They're fun, though, because they all look different, but the same somehow.

Ya, I know, I was being sarcastic. Just trying to make myself feel better for getting "chicken burnt"....again. The eggs were sold to me as purebred Ameraucanas. So far I'm batting 1000 for being misled. I still loves me chickens though.
