Setting eggs tomorrow, October 14th... need some hatching buddies!!

My 5yo, who had a FIT that I planned to eat our first egg (we got it yesterday), just saw the eggs on the counter and said, "Mom... can we PLEASE hatch these chickens?"

I think its over. I'll finish packing & getting ready to leave and then pull out the aquarium & see if I can turn it into an incubator.

Funny, we have a lot of people setting silkie eggs.

A year ago, that was me with my first hatch... and now all mine are grown up and pretty. Time flies.

i only put one egg in the the incubator today and be the only one for the week untill the rest hatch out later this week i was going to put it in the fridge but something just told me na i better hatch it so i guess going to cant wait to see what comes out

i will be setting some d'uccle eggs and a french standered black copper marans on the 16th. this is my very first time hatching eggs....

X2 I had a hard time NOT candling everyday. But all my other ones in the last batch died. So im starting fresh

Just set a dozen assorted eggs, after cleaning the turner of a leaky egg.
