Im going to give them a few more days before I crack them open.

I'm sorry to hear that. :( That's really disappointing.
I'm glad that you still have some good looking ones. You chick pictures are adorable. Looking forward to pics of your new ones ;)

Hi all! I set my eggs on the 21st around 9 pm. This is my first time using a hova-bator. I've always used a little homemade bator, but this time, there's just too many eggs! I have bantam cochins, silkies, LF ameracaunas, and LF polish, along with 1 serama egg that I stuck in to fill the turner. In all, there's 42. Then I went out and bought another hova-bator because I had more eggs being shipped. That one will be filled tomorrow with 22 serama eggs and 6 ancona duck eggs. All I can say is I must be nuts! I've justified this by telling myself that most of them are shipped, so I probably won't even get a 50% hatch rate....

....maybe not even that. I'm candling tonight....hope I see lots of little "spiders!"

I'm setting my first batch of eggs tonight! (Well, in a real incubator anyway.) Anyone else? I've got Easter Egger eggs, then a mix of wyandottes, Buff orpington, sex-links, RIRs, leghorns, and barred rocks! So excited!

Hi Everyone,
I posted waaaay back on Day 1 that my eggs were "ordered" and I'd be joining you late. I've been enviously watching your posts...love the two beautiful candling pictures! How exciting!
Well, I just picked my eggs up from the P.O. this morning!

I'm letting them rest while I regulate the incubator temp. They will go in either tonight or first thing tomorrow morning. MRobbins sent me 16 Black and Blue Silkie eggs.

I've included a photo showing how tiny and beautiful they are. I know shipped eggs are a bit of a gamble, but so far, so good. They made it -perfectly- from Georgia to California in one day!!!!

Im so excited for everyone! Silkies are the next thing going in my bator!
I pitched 2 blood rings tonight and I think there is another one
