I always have this mental lockdown debate with myself. If I set the eggs at noon on 1/22 do I put them.in lockdown at noon today, noonn tomorrow. Or at midnight tonight and call it good. Thoughts?

I put them in 1/21 8pm est so hatch day start 2/10 8pm est. This one is a bantam egg marked BSBC. I guess it just wants to say hello early. My temps have been steady 99-100 forced air. I need to set up the brooder.

I'm waiting to set up my brooder until I see fuzz. I feel like I'm going to jinx them! Lockdown today at noon and one egg is rockin' & rollin' (an egg too dark to see into of course!). My previous hatches didn't have eggs moving utill day 20...I'm a little worried this chick wants to come out early. I just read the post about how if you candle on day 18 you shouldn't be able to see anything cause the egg should be full of chick. So now I'm worried that the humidity was too high because when I candled yesterday I could still see just into a tiny bit of liquid at the bottom of the eggs....I have worry worts. I could see veins and movement though! Time will tell! And then I'll tell ya'll!

That other post also said something about putting them in something to hold them up & then they won't roll into the others....I haven't heard that this would be bad and two more worry worts just popped up! I stressed about keeping them in the unplugged turner or taking it out so they didn't get their little leggy's caught in the slots. I took it out now I'm stressin' about them rolling all over and into each other!!
AHHHHHhhhhhh

I just set up mine! :D
Outside view. It's a good sized box.

Sandbath, perch and toys. Not sure what percentage of that I will keep in there the first few days, but ultimately this will all be in it.
The sheet will be taken out after the first few days when they can walk well on just the leaves.

Top view. The empty corner will hold food and water.

Do I have too much in there? Will they need this much stimulus?
