that are due the beginning of March. I have 12 other duck eggs that are due toward the middle/end of March... All my other chicken eggs didn't make it.. Just have the one right now.. Will be a lonly chick till the ducklings hatch.. And even then I have to watch how much time the chick spends with the ducklings... Have lost chicks due to ducklings playing in the water so much that the chicks somehow end up getting sick and die..
My kids are anxious for the ducklings.. They love to watch them swim in our tub...

Ok, I was off a day today is day 19!!!!! I have had movement in only 1 egg.... Dont these chicks know the wait is driving me crazy!!!

I am setting 18 eggs: 11 golden campine and 7 bantam EEs. I am very curious about how the EEs will turn out, since one rooster in with the one hen is the only survivor of a nice brown red Ameraucana clutch of eggs (stupid post office) and the other roo is an EE with very pretty plumage. I'll be trying a second time with eggs from the same seller, since it wasn't his fault that the P.O. took so long to deliver the eggs, but I won't complain if the chicks turn out as pretty as the EE parents (the hen is a white with what looks like red lacing on her head and shoulders and blush on her breast) or if they lay eggs as nice as the hen does.

So are you in lock down? I am waiting for my BO to hatch on the 3rd March
Do you have an active thread for the hatch?
