I set 48 chicken eggs this morning. Anyone else setting eggs today?
I got a new incubator a few weeks ago so this is just a trial run to see how well it works - hopefully something will hatch! I'm pretty excited as I haven't hatched chickens since I was seven years old (admittedly about nine years ago). I hatched some quail about a month ago but only got about a 40% hatch rate so hopefully this will go better.
I'd love to hear from anyone else who's expecting chicks about the same time.
