I am going to go pick up about a dozen Button Quail eggs tonight and I was wondering how long should I wait to set them? some will be from today and some will be from 3 days ago and some will be in between that!
Also about turning them, I am using a tiny plastic tote box (about the size of a piece of paper and about 3in deep) with a reptile heat pad on the bottom and a wire shelf that was in a bird cage, how harmful will it be opening the lid to turn the eggs? I have read were some people dont see where opening the lid to turn them hurts their hatch rate and I've read were some people believe it totally devastates their hatch rate.
