I am setting 15 BLRW eggs I got from Katy tomorrow, I am soooo excited about these. I have wanted these eggs from the moment I saw Katys birds, and now I have them! Also I set 4 goose eggs yesterday, but because of bad shipping, I only have hope for 1, but set the other 3 anyway. So what are you setting, or what have you set recently?

Hi there! I just set my very first 6 eggs in an incubator that I made myself! They'll all be mutts. 2 EE, 1 BA, 1 RIR, 2 LB all crossed with my PR rooster. I'm hoping to get a successful hatch and hopefully pullets!

I'm going to set Saturday
Just had a terrible hatch - 2 chickies out of 40 some eggs
got some eggs locally and another person who got eggs from him had bad hatch - I think something was wrong with them and they caused issues with my other eggs
getting some more Delaware's from Claudia cause others had no issues so NOT her eggs - and will try again
I think will try dry method this time and hoping goes much better

Hello. I set up 37 eggs from BantyRooster today (4-22) in our classroom. I work in a Deaf and Hard of Hearing classroom of Junior High kids. Everyone was pretty excited about them. They are most fascinated by all the different colors and sizes. We have a mix of eggs - Welsummer, Plymouth Rock, Red and White RIR, SLW, and EE. Plus there are some of my favorite - Mille Fleur. Good Luck to everyone else hatching along!

I just set 10 eggs from my own hens today, in my home made igloo incubator. I had 4/10 of these hatch last weekend, so I'm trying again. I'd like to get at least 4 or 5 pullets out of both hatches. The 4 hens I have lay every day but I need more eggs!
