Setting first eggs tomorrow - 3/23

I don't think I had any pips yesterday or last night although, I'll be honest... I didn't check really well. Does it matter if this new little one doesn't really have room to move? Lots of pips now and rocking eggs! I guess I'm bad at math, or these guys are early...I set them on the 22...

2nd chick hatched. First was a black chick with a single comb. Next was a black chick with a rose comb...chick 3 has unzipped and is trying to push out

I'm sure all will be well Aqua! Soon enough they'll be going off to college and were going to miss these days... Ha!

I'm still jealous though haha my eggs go into lockdown tonight!

Chick 3 made it out!

Now back to waiting. Woo hoo chicks! They all look good. Chick one hatched from a really light brown egg, chick 2 hatched from an olive egg, and chick 3 from another light brown egg

Chick 3 has more white on it than the other 2...I hope some hatch that are other colors...or that more hatch period would be alright too. They seem to be moving right along though

I set mine on the 22nd also. I woke up to 3 beautiful little chicks!!!! My little frizzle made it out, one from a blue egg, and one from a brown speckled egg. I'm sure the blue is an EE mix. Not sure about the speckled egg. Frizzle was mine but the others were shipped and half of those were a barnyard mix. I don't know what chicken lays a speckled egg lol.

It's also only day 20 for me. The first emerged at 6 am...the next at around 8 and the third right after the 2nd. Tomorrow was supposed to be hatch day, but I guess they couldn't wait any longer than I could

Yay! 5 so far...every one is black. Some have more white, some have what looks like rose combs, some have single combs...they all look like little penguins...
