I have saved 67 eggs over 10 days. time to start up incubator..
I understand some of the eggs might be a little old but I am taking a chance on them.
I've got the temp figured out, but I am getting all different ideas on humidity.
It's been very damp here so if I get the correct information I should be able to hold it steady.
I've read any where from 25% to 59% till lock down, then up to 70% after that.
What is rightI am using a forced air Octoganal with digital read out.
This is my second load in it, but the first was some mutt chicken eggs. we didn't get as good of hath from that batch, but it was a fertility problem. not an incubator problem.

Another question, can I put tonights eggs in after I collect them , even if the incubators been running for a few hours?

1-14 days humidity 30-40
15-17 days humidity 50-65

You can put egg in tonight, but not tomorrow. You can also leave chick in the incubator 24hrs after hatch. Quail has high metabolism so I wouldn't recommend 48 hours like chicken.

also don't worry about late hatches thast normal for quails

although a lot of people say 17 days

I have found its more 18 days with day 15 as lockdown

but can go longer

My jumbo coturnix quail start hatching on 16 days. I only open once or twice during incubator process. It helps speed up hatching time.
As far the temperature go, the mercury thermometer came with the Brinsea Eco 20 102F and the digital 99F so I settle 100F. It seems working out fine for both quail and chicken so left where it is.

mine came preset at 37.5C (99.5 F)
I am not sure but my chickens I hatched were one day early..It will be interesting to see what happens with this load.
May need a bigger brooder.

It's fine for them to not be in the incubator for a little more than a week so I wouldn't worry about the eggs. Just be carefull with the humidity. Good luck.
