Setting my first ever eggs on Aug 27, is anyone else?

Last time I candled them, I took out 21 and now I have about 104 with some I am not sure. Will candle before lock down.

You set yours one day before me so I guess that means my lock down is Fri. my count was one day off I thought my lock down would be Sat. But my day 21 I know is Mond. Just double checked and that would be correct day 18 would be Fri. Seems like forever while I've been waiting, but now it seems like it's almost here.

You will feel the last 3 days longer than first 18 days. You will make many trips to your incubator to check for pipped or hatched chicks. They said never open your incubator but the last 2 rounds with chicken eggs and 3 rounds with quail eggs, I keep open the incubator to get the chicks out, can't wait. I just finished my wine cooler hatcher and I dialed the humidity in at 55, so this time, I will leave them in there for 5 straight days. Don't know if I can do it

Check all the eggs before lock down and I discarded 5 I know for sure they are bad. 99 into lock down and this time, I try to play by the rule, don't open the hatcher for 5 full days.

Today is lockdown day and my husband scared the bejeezers out of me. We have a thermometer that we can read and monitor in the kitchen, but the part that does the monitoring is actually in the bator. He asked me if I had forgot and left the lid off the bator b/c it was reading 37. I had not been in the bator at all today so I knew I had not, but thought mabe a cat or something had and went running to the incubator room to check everything out, and the lid was in place, the bator was humming along and felt warm to the touch .......................................................................... well it turns out he accidentally touched a button on the monitor while cleaning the counter and changed the reading from F to C!!!!!!!!

Haha to funny but what a scare I can imagine, those thermometers are very handy

I just candled and put them in lock down, I took 2 out, and will be completely shocked if any at all hatch.
