Hatch day!

Set 30 eggs,

3 bacteria rings, dropped one and had 4 clears.

2 early hatches on day of lockdown.

Currently day 28 and things are starting to look active.

They are soooo adorable!!!!!

I've got 23 Narragansett turkey eggs in an incubator right now, and two 2-week old Narragansett pouts in a brooder from a previous hatch. I had put five eggs under a first time broody d'Uccle hen, then halfway through she decided she didn't want to set after all. By the time I found the eggs, they were scattered and ice cold, so it was a blessing to even get two to make it. Narragansetts are a tough breed, I can tell you that.
