Does anyone know if there is a breed of Japanese coturnix that sit on the eggs to hatch them? Or if the only option is incubation? I would really like to have a quail sit on my eggs rather than putting them in the incubator! Anyone know of a breed?

Well.. Never say never. It does happen. But no, coturnix are coturnix, the different 'breeds' are only color morphs or animals that have been selectively bred for size or egg production, there isn't much difference as far as I know. Usually, when I read about a broody coturnix, it's wild colored, but I suspect that's just because they are more common.
