I am working on the design of my coop and run. I will be making the 10x12 run in panels so I can move them easy next year after our new house is built. I am wondering about placing flat concrete pavers where the run panels will sit, it can be easily leveled then. I will attach the run to the coop. It will be very heavy then and secured to the coop so I am not worried about anything lifting it to get in. But what I am wondering, is rather than secure the 1/2 inch hardware cloth that I will be burying, so you think I can put it under the pavers, then bury it? I am going to do 18" and buried at an angle out, so to create and underground apron. Thoughts? And is chicken wire good enough for the top of the run, or should I stick to 2"x4" welded wire fencing there? I will have the 1/2" 3 ft up the run, the last 5' will be the 2"x4"
