5 chicks, 2 pips. Nothing else.
I have 3 splash silkies, one blue and one blue partridge odd ball. Due to cat crazies I had to open the bator and refill the water/sponge cup (they knocked the lid open and the humidity fell to 50%) so I pulled the 5 chicks out for the cats to watch in the brooder instead of messing with my bator trying to get to them!

Those Dang cats huh!!! LOL Mine does the same things(the inside one) the outside one sets eggs for me...lol check out the pics on the post about a new and funny way to hatch eggs!!!

I saw that! I have one that guards the chicks if they are brown (he likes brown things), one that thinks they are squeaky toys and 3 more that just want a fresh meal!

I was trying to candle my eggs and started to drop the light, then the egg, caught the egg, dropped the light, then cracked the egg. Stupid light. Oh, well I quit candling and sealed the egg, so hopefully it will still hatch. I can't believe the dumb woman with the light

Hehe.... Sorry, I cracked two of the LF eggs while turning the third day in. I quickly slapped a couple pieces of clear desk tape over them and they are in lockdown as we speak!

I dropped one the day mine arrived in the mail I put white school glue on it then added a piece of tissue (the kind you blow your nose on lol...) on top of the glue and added more glue and swirled it all over till it turned clearish, and it is still going great I am so pleased we go into lockdown next week, Can't wait to see my little miracle fuzzy butt!!

I can't believe all the cracked egg that hatch out.. I found a cracked one the day i set but because it was obviously cracked when i got them, I didn't seal it.. I should have just to see what would happen... KD, Congrats on your little fuzzy butts!! I'm starting to lose my mind.. Yesterday was day 14 and I thought I heard a peep.. I know.. It's impossible.. Guess it's just wishful thinking.. LOL
