Thats the hatcher. IT will hold 300 if I run both racks. Yes I made it. I can get 240 eggs in the bator(which I also made).


THese bad boys should be for sale in a few months. Ill soo be building a 400 egg bator and 500 egg hatcher.

Well i did my lock down with one hatch at 6:45!!!! 30 silkie eggs!!! i sure hope this goes well! i did my candling and all looked good so far! and now i just have to keep my hands off the incubator!

I hope i did this right i just took the eggs out of the turner and laid them down on the side is that right? i put them on some cupboard gripper stuff

Lockdown last night... looks like 9 of 11 were moving for sure, the other two seemed to have a little more space still in the bottom of the egg than I would like, but the blood vessels were still visible, so

Only 1 egg is fertile going into lockdown tomorrow. I hope this little chick makes it! I couldn't see it moving but I'm crossing my fingers and let it be. This is my first hatch and if I can get one chick I'll be happy. Poor chick won't have a buddy but will be spoiled rotton if it makes it.

I have four babies! Weeee hah!! Hope to wake up to more in the morning! Gratz to everyone else who has had babies hatch today! Pics will be posted when I get a second to breathe! Woo hoo!!!
