We are in lockdown and I am not the most patient person in the world
It takes forever it seems!
I had one that was trying to internally pip last night at last candle before lockdown so hopefully will have a fluffy butt soon

I feel your pain I too am in lockdown with 6 Blue and Black Mottled Duccles and 5 Blue Marans, and one who when I set thought was one of my Porcelain Duccles, but the more I look at it, it appears to be the work of a Cornish X and get ready Mille Fleur, weird huh. For some reason, this is the second Duccle who has fallen in love with the X's, the first was a Porcelain but he soon fell in love with an EE. But anyways, my days off are Mondays and Tuesdays and I always try to set according to that. My eggs went into lockdown Friday around 10pm, all the eggs, except one, was a recognizable chick, a couple had bad wobbled air sac's but chick was moving around. So here I am running
I have 9 Lavender Orpingtons that all had chicks moving in them last night. If they all make it it will be the best hatch results with shipped eggs for me. The incubator is in my bedroom so I keep waiting for the peeping
I love listening to them while waiting to hatch.
That sounds like an interesting mix
I like the surprise of mixed eggs, you never know what is going to hatch!
Good Luck
Thanks, I just candled and it looks like three have good looking veins but the other two are ify, I will keep them in though until they start to smell. Good luck with yours!
DuckGirl89 - I hope the other 2 guys grow. You're following the same rule I do LoL keep em til they stink.
I candled mine right before lockdown and they all looked pretty good except maybe one. I think it may have stopped growth halfway but we'll see. I'm getting so fidgety. Everytime I check the humidity, I check the eggs and I'm always seeing 1 or 2 that are wiggling into place. I just hope they come out to say
soon! Good luck everyone! Hope to see pics of new fluffy butts very soon
How is everyone's hatch coming along, I heard some chirping earlier so, one at least internally pip air sac now to wait for the baby. I think the more you look at them the longer it takes so I will just up on them and maybe I will have a pip.

I let them sit in the hatcher for about a week after due date. I had 4 babies in my incubator this am; they were on Day 22. Good luck to everyone on their hatches!
