Setting tomorrow tonight (I think)

Hahaha! My moms silkies are 5 months old and still look homely, its just the way silkies are lol.

Hahaha well I'm glad it's not just mine. My Dad didn't want me to order them because they're homely as babies but I got my way (of course LoL) and I can't wait until they're grown and fluffy. I'd like to show them someday. Maybe next year

Hahaha. My mom didnt want me to get yellow ducklings, but I got my way. I dont understand whats wrong with yellow ducklings? lol. Im getting 4 yellow and 2 brown. The yellow ones are called welsh harlequin, and the browns are rouens. Right now i have this one duck that is half black and half white. It so cool.

I now have a small flock of Silkies and they are the BEST family chickens! My eggs I thought were going to be here today, but looks like tomorrow. I have 12 coming each from 2 diff people, and they were going to throw in extras.. So looking like starting Friday if I get them tomorrow and let them sit a day..

I have put 16 LO's in the incubator this afternoon. One ended up being cracked but I sealed it with wax so fingers crossed on that one. I ended up with 4 more than expected so not a big deal if it can't be saved. Good Luck everyone!!

I'd like to join also! I have 9 Tolbunt Polish eggs that are 14 days old and so far so good! Ruth

Sounds good. Like tinychicken said everyone may join as long as you keep us posted lol.

Can I join I'm trying to hatch under a broody but she's starting to get me mad every time I go to set eggs at night she's she off but when I go to collect eggs she's always on. I leave her golf balls so she has something to sit on but its almost like she knows there not real eggs.

I am hoping to be setting some chicken eggs into my homemade incubator on the 22nd. I am going this weekend to pick up the eggs. Getting a mix of Leghorn, Araucanas, and Polish Crested.
