Well, it has been a very busy week around here with very good numbers. I've had about 200 scheduled to hatch this week, a hatcher of BBS orp's, hatcher of sex links, hatcher of bantams, and a hatcher of EE's. There are about 180 babies that made it to brooders and only 1 death after hatch. I started off the morning today with pheasants hatching and I moved another bunch of bantams out of the cabinet and into the hatcher to start the week over again.
The pheasants are sold before they are born as there are waiting lists. A lady and her daughter couple miles North of me just about cleaned out the EE's this morning to split between them. Never a problem selling those.
Heard the comment this morning of how well my babies are taken care of and they trust what they are buying. Makes a fella feel good.
The wife and I are making about a 1000 mile round trip next weekend after pure Ayam Cemani eggs from a reputable breeder.
