settling eggs before transport?

hi. I am receiving my first egg shipment today, but my friend is hatching them for me. She lives about 45 minutes away. I am taking them to her house tomorrow. They have been in transit since wednesday (long story) so my question is:

do is set them to "settle" and then pop them in the bator asap tomorrow? Or just not worry about settling at my house, and let her settle them tomorrow and THEN put them in the bator?

I would let them settle at her house for 24 hrs and candle them there as well to make sure none are cracked. I wouldn't even unpack them until you get to her house
