I speaking on floor around the inside of pen of my chickens but they eat off ground if they eat it will it hurt them?

I've never had any issues with it. My grandmother always used it around her chickens.

I use it if I run out of livestock powder (basically the same thing) haven't had a problem with it in over 2 years. I'd keep it away from their food and water dishes though
