Seven free chicks in Northern IN

I let a new broody sit on some eggs, and she hatched out 7 pretty chicks 5/16. I had a home lined up for them, but that fell through at the last minute. I really don't have a place to grow them out right now, hoping someone here would like to have them.

They're all mixed breed, the moms are Ameraucanas (black,blue, white and a red-black), a barred rock, Barnevelder and Buff Orp...possible fathers are a splash blue-laced red Wyandotte, Barnevelder, and a Marans/Ameraucana mix. The chicks are all different colors, and you'll have a pretty colorful flock, quite possibly some green eggs, though no guarantee.

I'd rather not ship them, that runs into $$$, I'm sure some amish neighbor would take them, but i'd rather they went to a BYCer! ;~)

we're up to 8 now, a straggler hatched last nite...might still get a couple more, the other girls kept sneaking eggs into the clutch!

Have you found a home yet? We live in northern Indiana as well. Any roos in the bunch?

I did find them a home about 10 days ago! They were getting feathered out and were very pretty.

Where in north Indiana do you live? I'm about 45 mins from the line of Indiana/ Michigan line
