I just brought this chick home from a farm and I noticed her chest is really swollen. I don’t want to put her with my other birds until I know what’s going on.

It looks like a full crop from eating a lot, but does it feel hard, doughy, or puffy? You may want to feel the other’s crops as well to compare. Watch to see if her crop empties and make sure that she has access to water at all times. The crop is normally empty by daylight if they have slept all night without a light on.

Thank you! I looked up different possibilities online and I’m sure that it is a full crop. They have access to food and water now, there were four of them. Two were swollen, and now that they’ve all been able to eat and drink all for swollen. But I think maybe they were just really hungry. They are in an enclosure in the shade with food and water resting and I think they will be great
