Severe diarrhea that does not heal for 5 days

It has been about 10 days and no improvement in her condition. But I learnt a lot from here and other forums and I can say she has a swollen abdomen. I am sure of that because I checked the other 3 chicks and this one's belly is significantly round and ball shaped and swollen. I believed it is egg bound and got epsom salt and calsium pills, tried twice and it didn't work. I checked the vent but not sure if I did it correctly. Should I look for an egg straight back, up or down when I insert my finger? I believe it should be somewhere 1-2 inches to the vent? What might be if it is not an eggbound? Thank you so much for the responses.

It can be hard to diagnose diarrhea without a vet or having a fecal float done. Worms, coccidiosis, or cancer could be possible reasons. I would check her crop again early in the morning. How much Corid are you giving? It sounds like she could be very sick, and at her age and with the yellow I would wonder if she has a reproductive infection. An antibiotic, such as amoxicillin twice a day can help. Some feed stores might have Aqua Mox amoxicillin, formerly called Fish Mox. If you should lose her, sometimes you can get a necropsy by your state vet. Here is a list of them to contact:

are these Aqua Mox amoxicillin sold over the counter or do i need a prescription?
