Severe flystrike, urgent!

The top brown area is hard and dried up but not crunchy like a scab. Seems deeper than a scab would be. It's tough and dry to the touch. Never seen anything like it before. The, bottom bulging area is where the majority of the maggots were. So gross.
The bottom almost looks like it could be internal tissue, or that some of the epidermis is missing. Hopefully, you can save her.

I can't even see the vent in those photos, those buggers did some serious damage.
If it were me, I would cover in a layer of Neosporin to keep the area moist. If it dries out it wont heal.
The vent is unaffected at the moment. I just slathered a thick layer of Hen Healer, a thick blue ointment I bought a while ago. Will use Neosporin in the a.m. after her soak... Thanks, didn't realize I had it.

Sorry, not the best photos... I'm alone without extra hands tonight.

Those ointments should help to prevent infection. Time will tell if she survives this. Congrats on the new puppy. My puppy is 7 months old now, and a real handful. Wishing you luck and hoping things get better.

No visible worms so far. Bath yesterday late afternoon, followed by Neosporin. Ate well last night, but this morning she's been shaking her head...🥺

My $.02 worth: make sure you keep her away from any more flies while she's recovering...
Yes, she's been in the house in a nylon crate with netting sides, since day one.

Mine is 10 weeks and towers over my dachshund. She is several handfuls and then some.
