so recently it got extremely cold. -20F wind chills. My rooster had been blocked from the wind but not brought inside. He also had a heat lamp that he could go under if needed. But enough area to get away from all heat. Somehow he ended up getting frost bite on his comb that developed fast. His entries comb is black and I think I saw some blood on it. He is separated from the other hens right now. It is 60 now but supposed to get 20 tonight. Should I bring him in??? And how do I treat it?? I want what’s best for him and I’m not sure what to do. Will it fall off on its own. And how do I prevent infection?
