Severe hen pecked! Help!

Ok so she's all set up in her hospital room in my basement. I got betadine and cleaned her wound and then I put the triple antibiotic on. How many times a day should I clean it and put the antibiotic on?
Ps. I had trouble finding the betadine at the store so I asked for help and when I told them why I needed it they looked at me like I was a crazy person! Haha
Welcome to the club. I love freaking people out with stories. I'll be at a store and say I have 80 chickens. They ask where I live and I tell them, "right up the street."

She looks much better this morning. She's drinking but only wants to eat bird seed. Her face is still pretty swollen so maybe it hurts when she eats her pellets. Would baby aspirin get the swelling down? And if so how do I give it to her? And what else should I offer to her to eat?
Aspirin won't do anything for swelling. It's for pain. I would crush a baby aspirin and mix it in the water.
Chickens are tough. She'll probably be good as new in a few days.

Does anyone know why she's turning green? I've been cleaning and putting triple antibiotic on her everyday.

I didn't know that betadine could do that. That must be what's going on because it looks exactly the same. I'm so glad it's not an infection!

I think the betadine can cause it, but the green skin can also occur with bruising. It has something to do with the breakdown of oxyhemaglobin, but that's over my head.
