Severely impacted crop miracule cure

I was skeptical but I was at my wits end. One of my best girls had a severely impacted crop to the point I thought surgery was necessary. Then I watched a video about treating impacted crops with mineral oil. I figured it was worth a try. Everyday for the past week I gave her 1 ml twice daily and massaged her crop. I could not get her to vomit it up so this was my only option. Finally today I went out to give her her medicine to find her crop had completely emptied! Just thought Id share this for others. The UK product is known as liquid paraffin but here in the US its known as Mineral Oil USP. The best part is it only costs about 6 bucks

I should also note our bird was severely impacted and it took us about a week of use to get her back to normal. But its odorless, tasteless and colorless so the birds dont seem to mind taking it. Her crop is squishy like it should be now

Warning to those that might use it... Be very careful, because if they aspirate any of it, it could be fatal. Aspiration of oils can cause "lipoid pneumonia".

Yes do be careful that they drink it and dont breathe it. Either give a little at a time or be sure to get the syringe into the esophagus
