"Sevin 1 Lb. Insecticide 5% Dust Canister" is this what everyone is referring to for treatment of mites and lice? I have a roo loosing feathers on his neck and I can only assume it is due to bugs....

no... but when I originally posted about what could be making him loose feathers, everyone suggested it was probably a bug issue. but I am open to suggestions

I only asked cause my chickens rarely molted severely, just kind of spotty. One of the places they would lose feathers was on the neck. They would lose a few feathers have a bald spot and immediately start regrowing feathers. I wonder if it is because of the mild climate here. (I see you are just down the road from me). Some people treat preventavely.
