Sewing Machine Purchase Advice

Tada!!!

(of course there is a VERY good chance that all that work to differentiate neutral / hot didn't matter at all) ;)

Good choice, I have an older Brother that works great. I've barely used it but my mom borrowed it when she had moved and hers was still in storage and did several quilting projects on it. She's an avid quilter and seamstress and has a few Brother machines.

I'm glad you got yours running!

Well, that did the trick!

Since the male part of this plug is also not hot/neutral demarcated, I made sure that the "square" (neutral) part followed the ribbing/rough side (neutral) all the way back to the left terminal of the outlet (which is neutral). :D

:woot I am glad it powers on! It looks like it was never used. I look forward to hearing how well it sews.

Tada!!!

True but better safe than sorry. I figure they have a round vs square port for a reason.
